Hello.  Welcome to my little corner of the universe a.k.a. The Happy Bubble.  I'm Margot Potter also known as Madge and sometimes known as The Impatient Crafter™. I am a TV host, writer, designer, actor, vocalist and dream spinner.  I'm married to an endlessly patient man and we have an endlessly amazing teen aged daughter along with three adorable rescue dogs and one squeepy guinea pig.  We live on a mountain side in the Smokies, which is a bit like living in a tree house, except we have heat, plumbing, a hot tub and the occasional bear in our yard.

I like to make stuff.  I am often sometimes prone to making messes.  I call them 'glorious messes,' which makes them seem far more glamorous than they actually are.  I believe in coloring outside of the lines, creating without filters, splashing in puddles, living out loud, dressing as you please, singing at the top of your lungs at inappropriate times...and mostly, being who you are without apology or explanation.  "Those who matter don't mind and those who mind, don't matter."

I love all things vintage and from many eras.  I like to think of my style as eclectifunky or retrofabulous and sometimes it veers into what I have termed as Folk Art Chic(tm.)  Kitsch makes me smile, elegance does too, shabby gets just as much love as sparkly around these parts.  It's hard to pin me down, I'm tricky like that.

I am endlessly fascinated with the world around me.  It's a pretty endlessly fascinating world, don't you think?

There have been dark days and blue skies and all of the variations in between.  It is life, after all and it is ever shifting and changing.  The best we can do is to keep shifting and changing with it. 

There's a lot here to explore and if you like exploring, might I suggest a jaunty pith helmet and a cup of your personal poison.  Sit a spell, kick off your shoes and enjoy.
