Team Potter on TLC's CraftWars with Tori Spelling!

It is really, really, really...really hard for me to keep a secret.  Yet surprisingly I manage to keep keep many.  Some I will never reveal.  Some I have to hold inside until the time is right.  This is one of those hold inside secrets.  I have been really careful about even intimating this one.  I can't believe I managed to hold out, but I did!  And now...drum roll please...some super duper exciting news:

A few months ago, unbeknownst to the world at large, my husband and I flew to Hollywood and taped a segment for a new TLC reality competition show called CraftWars!  It was a roller coaster ride of wonderful crafty exhaustion.  That is literally all I can say about my experience, due to contractual agreements that come close to asking for my first born male child if I say ANYTHING at all about what happened. Rumplestilstkin has nothing on these folks!

The show debuts this coming Tuesday at 10pm EST on TLC with host and producer Tori Spelling.  The trio of judges include the fabulous Jo Pearson the spokesperson for Michaels, designing diva Erica Domesek of PS: I Made This fame and finally the charming Steven Brown of the whimsical crafty empire known as Glitterville.  The show sponsor is Michaels....wait until you see the craft closet!  Seriously the stuff of most crafter's wildest dreams.

And if all of that wasn't enough, the dynamic duo of crafting Cathie Filian and Steve Piacenza were consultants and producers, so you know it has to be all sorts of crafty fun!

I can't say anything about our episode or give you our specific airdate...yet.  I can say we're on later in the season, it's going to be super fun and I scout's honor promise to share the date a week before the show.  In fact, I promise to bombard you with reminders, because I'm that excited!  Woo...HOO!

Shameless self promotion, check.

Because of the promos, a few of us crafters figured out who else might be on the show, we're smarty pants like that, and though none of us can discuss any details with you or with each other, we're going to be hosting a Twitter Party on Tuesday night, so stay tuned for the 411.  Don't look for us to spill any behind the scense secrets, because we can't.  I am sure many of your favorite craft industry names will appear on the show over the season and it's totally worth tuning in because it's going to be fast paced, fun and unlike any craft show you've ever seen.  No tedious and lengthy segments on how to decoupage a tea cup, this is a whole different approach.

And if you'd like to see yours truly in a promo for the show, it's at the bottom of this post!  We all know that I like to have the last word...hee.

PS: Here are some other awesomely talented craft industry folks appearing on the show this season!:
Andrea Currie
Angela Daniels
Lisa Fulmer

PSS: The winner of Bohemian Inspired Jewelry is Despina!  Congratulations!  I will email you later today to get your snail mail addy!  Hooray!

Cheers,
Madge

Holy crap, that's awesome! And as someone who can't keep it to herself when she's had an extra cookie, I admire your secret-keeping ability. :)

Super cool news, Miss Margot. I am almost never home so I will have to see if Hulu has the episode so that I can watch it. I know you will rock the house! Congratulations! Enjoy the day. Erin
